Bakeriye Kattiya (බේකරියෙ කට්ටිය) is a nonprofit art organization and the largest alternative art group in Sri Lanka. It boasted a multitude of volunteer artists, including alternative music bands, video artists, photographers, performance artists, painters, and many others. The organization conceived the concept of an underground art space in Sri Lanka known as Bakeriya Space. Every year, they diligently organized an art festival called “Down Town Pulse,” which featured various alternative art forms.
